Selecting Employees For The Company

Selecting employees for a company can be a very tricky thing. The employees of a company can make or break it and so the selection should be done in a manner that each person who is selected should have very good sense of dedication and loyalty to the company blended with the motivation to work and a passion to drive the motivation.

If you are looking for a small recruitment you can ask for references from your colleagues or other employees. They shall know the work quality of the people with whom they are acquainted, or if you are recruiting fresher graduates then you would be able to mould them into any way you want. Hence a small recruitment is not a problem.

The problem arises when you are looking for a large recruitment, or mass recruitment. In this case you would see people flocking around your company for a job. So how would you manage? How can you select them? The first thing to do is to give a cut off. Though marks are irrelevant they can be a great cut off and so they are usually the first option by the managers.

Once the people cross the cut off you can have a common written test for all to check their aptitude and many other aspects. This would help you estimate their skills in the area or if they can be molded easily. Give a cut off for this as well and select the candidates who have passed for the interview. An interview would let you know face to face about the candidate.

The HR managers devise many activities which can determine the capability of the student. Not only that, a person can tell his behavior or thought through his actions. All these must be prepared for and foreseen by the candidates. Make this choice cautiously.
